Fort Augustus & Glenmoriston Community Council (FAGCC)

The Community Council exists to express the views and concerns of local people and groups on a wide range of issues and make representation to the Highland Council, Public Authorities and other organisations. In the interest of the communities we represent, the Community Council may take any relevant action necessary providing it is both practical and desirable. Members of the public are welcome at all Community Council Meetings.

Glenmoriston Improvement Group (GIG) works alongside the Community Council to specifically represent, make recommendations for and provide focus towards the needs of the community within the Glenmoriston part of the FAGCC's area of control and to absorb some of the workload required in managing the affairs of the large geographic area under the FAGCC's jurisdiction.
