Fort Augustus & Glenmoriston Community Company

The Fort Augustus & Glenmoriston Community Company was established by the Community Council in 2007 as the approved body to receive & distribute community benefit to the Fort Augustus & Glenmoriston area as mandated by the Community.

In 2010, the Company took ownership & management of the village hall, built the extension, fitted Air2Air heating and put solar panels on the roof to reduce the heating bills. Since 2014 they have also been involved in running the community caretakers for both villages, Fort Augustus & Invermoriston as well as looking after the cemeteries. The Company are 1 of only 2 communities who managed to get the Community Challenge award and employs 3 staff all year and 2 seasonal staff members.
