Visitor Resources

Despite being close to Loch Ness and centrally located within The Great Glen, Glenmoriston is often overlooked by visitors, many of whom may not realise what they are missing as they pass through on their journeys along the A82 and the A887. Glenmoriston has plenty to offer and a few secrets to share and for those who take the time to explore there are memorable experiences to be had within this beautiful portion of the Highlands. Invermoriston is situated between the two highest, and arguably most scenic, sections of The Great Glen Way, the river Moriston offers great opportunities for both kayakers and photographers, there are forest walks, hidden historic features, fascinating wildlife, rewilding projects, great food & drink and much, much more to offer.
